State Urges Health Care Providers to Share Facts About COVID-19 Vaccination

(Nov. 25, 2025) The Department of Health (DOH) issued a communication this week to primary care providers, hospitals, and long-term care providers warning them of seasonal fluctuations in COVID-19 and urging them to remind the public about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines with several facts about prevention, payment, access, and special populations at risk.

The letter includes several resources, including recommendations from the Northeast Public Health Collaborative, standing orders, and COVID-19 vaccine Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
