LeadingAge National Provides Resources on Federal Public Health Emergency Unwinding
LeadingAge National has provided a variety of resources for members regarding the ending of the federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE), including resources they developed for members and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) webinars happening this week.

CMS events this week:
- CMS Office Hours on PHE Ending: CMS will host informational office hours on Tues., April 25th from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. ET to discuss the end of the PHE. Register here. In preparation for this webinar, CMS recommends reviewing the following resources:
- CMS and HHS Educational Webinar on Medicaid Unwinding: CMS and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will host a webinar entitled “Medicaid and CHIP Continuous Enrollment Unwinding: What to Know and How to Prepare” on Wed., April 26th at 12 p.m. ET. Register here. Registrants will learn about how to educate staff and residents on the intersection of Medicaid coverage and employer-sponsored coverage as continuous coverage provisions sunset. Presenters will cover a recent issue brief from the HHS Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation and employers' roles in outreach related to the end of Medicaid continuous coverage.
