Some webinar highlights include:
- MCHF recognizes that we are all operating in an environment of great uncertainty; however, they will not be changing the focus of the priorities they support. They understand that applicants will need flexibility in adapting to changes such as in federal funding levels.
- The application is very similar to past years. Applicants should apply to one of MCHF’s five categories of funding that are all equally competitive. There is no limit to the number of LOIs that can be submitted, but it is unlikely that more than one will be funded.
- MCHF receives 1,500 requests, with one-third invited to submit full proposals. Grants are $75,000-$1 million, but are typically in the $250,000 range.
- Grants are typically for one year, with start dates of either October 2025 or January 2026 as requested by the applicant.
