Apply Now for 2015 LeadingAge Innovations Grants and Matching Funds!

LeadingAge has announced that applications are being accepted through July 30th for the 2015 Innovations Fund, which will provide a total of $135,000 in grants to encourage program innovations in both dementia care and wellness programs in affordable senior housing settings.  To increase the Fund's impact, LeadingAge NY is, once again, offering to match any grant made to a member organization here in New York.

Up to $35,000 is devoted to grants for innovative programs to serve residents and clients with dementia.  Projects in this category should pursue promising strategies for improving the quality of life and quality of care for people with dementia.  The remaining $100,000 is devoted to grants for innnovative projects that seek to address the mental, emotional, physical, and spirtual needs of residents living in affordable housing settings.

In support of innovation nationally and in our State, LeadingAge NY contributes annually to the Innovations Fund and has established a matching program for our New York members that receive a grant from the Fund.  We encourage members to apply for this opportunity, and to consider referencing LeadingAge NY's matching program to enhance the competitiveness of their application.
