Home Care Worker Wage Parity Compliance
DOH issued another Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) to remind providers that Phase I of the Home Care Worker Wage Parity law was implemented in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties and Phase II in NYC effective March 1. The DAL further advises, “Until your organization submits the certification of compliance form, your organization is out of compliance with the terms of the Home Care Worker Parity requirements; non-compliance will result in non-payment of services rendered, as required by Public Health Law § 3614-c(2).”
