Following our Advocacy Day efforts earlier this month, now is a crucial time to maintain pressure on the Legislature. LeadingAge NY has provided digital advocacy letters for members to send to their legislators, urging them to invest and restore cuts in this year’s budget.

Meeting yielded an update on the Master Plan for Aging, a new provider reporting platform, and PACE regulations.

Meeting highlighted changes regarding Transfer/Discharge as well as Plans of Correction and Directed Plans of Correction.

The COE-NF will host a training for nursing home providers on utilizing in-service toolkits to expand behavioral health capacity on Feb. 25^th, and DOH will host a number of trainings for nursing home, ACF/AL, home care, and hospice providers from March to May.

DOH group discussed scoring and quality measures for ALR.

The Feb. 24^th webinar with presenters from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and the American Red Cross of Northern Ohio will discuss leadership, communication, and lessons learned from the East Palestine, Ohio, train derailment and chemical spill.

Providers are encouraged to enter and submit data early.
