As Governor Hochul has launched the EXPRESS NY online portal to collect stakeholder feedback, LeadingAge NY wants to hear from members how state regulations, policies, and practices are impacting their ability to house and serve older adults.

All LeadingAge NY members are strongly encouraged to call state legislative offices on the morning of Wed., March 4^th.

The amendments include some new spending, but unfortunately, the investments are not directed toward long-term care or aging services providers.

The Senate and Assembly one-house budget bills were printed late in the evening of March 9^th. LeadingAge NY provides a high-level summary of key budget initiatives as we work to comprehensively review and analyze the two proposals and their potential impacts on member organizations.

After thoughtful consideration, LeadingAge NY has decided to pause the Art Show for 2026. This pause will allow us the opportunity to reimagine the program and explore new ways to highlight the creativity and talents of the older adults and residents members serve.
