Surveyor Guidance on Quality of Life

ABSTRACT:  CMS provides training slides on quality of life guidance changes.

On April 10, 2009 the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued revisions to the Interpretive Guidance to Surveyors outlining changes to multiple F-Tags under the Quality of Life requirements.  Click here for S&C 09-13.  CMS on April 20, 2009, issued a PowerPoint presentation that will be utilized to train surveyors on the new guidance.  A copy of the presentation is included below.
