Staffing Levels Webinar for Nursing Home Members
LeadingAge NY invites nursing home members to a webinar on Thurs., April 28th from 1 to 2 p.m. that will review the new staffing requirements. With the State preparing to assess penalties on nursing homes that fail to meet the minimum number of nurse and aide hours per resident day despite a persistent, statewide staffing crisis, it is important for nursing home members to understand the provisions and respond accordingly. The free webinar for LeadingAge NY members, titled Nursing Home Staffing Requirements: What to Know Right Now, will assist with that.
Join LeadingAge NY staff for a session that will review the requirements established by the law; discuss the compliance, penalty, and mitigation provisions it contains; and examine the staffing calculations as well as the Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) reporting on which they are based. This session is recommended for LeadingAge NY member nursing home Administrators, CFOs, HR Directors, DONs, and other staff seeking to better understand the minimum staffing law. There will be time for questions. The event is free for members, but registration is required here. If you have a specific question you would like addressed during the session, please enter it when registering.
