DOH Activates eFINDS HERDS Survey

On Mon., Aug. 15, 2022, the Department of Health (DOH) activated a Health Emergency Response Data System (HERDS) survey for hospitals, nursing homes, and adult care facilities (ACFs) across the state on the Evacuation of Facilities in Disaster Systems (eFINDS). According to DOH, the purpose of the survey is to collect information on facility-level use of the system, training, and operational plans, which can be used to inform future application enhancements and improvements to training delivery and guidance. The survey must be completed, saved, and submitted by Tues., Nov. 1, 2022.
