CMS Releases Draft MDS 3.0 RAI Manual v 1.19.1

(June 18, 2024) The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has posted the draft Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) Manual v 1.19.1 for use with the updated item sets beginning Oct. 1, 2024. The Manual can be downloaded here. There are numerous updates to the Manual which are summarized in total at the end of the document on pages 869-913.
