CMS Issues Updated Five-Star Technical Users’ Guide
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Oct. 27th Care Compare refresh included the corrected calculation results for the “Rate of successful return to home and community from a SNF” measure. In an effort to keep the rating points the same, cut points were adjusted. Cut point details can be found in Appendix Table A2 of the revised Five-Star Technical Users’ Guide.
