LeadingAge NY Staff Member Featured in AANAC Article

Michelle Synakowski, LeadingAge New York policy analyst and assistant director of ProCare Consulting is featured in an American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC) article on the Resource Utilization Group version IV (RUG-IV) classification system. Michelle, who is highly regarded for her expertise in long-term care reimbursement and resource utilization analysis, is one of only a handful of nationally certified AANAC Master Teachers.  In the article Michelle gives valuable insights into how providers may increase effectiveness in capturing clinical data used to evaluate residents under RUG-IV, improving the accuracy of both the care planning process and reimbursement.
