OIG Seeks NH Rehospitalization Rate QM The Office of Inspector General (OIG) recently completed a study entitled Medicare Nursing Home Resident Hospitalization Rates Merit Additional Monitoring. In its comments on the draft report, OIG recommends that CMS develop a quality measure that describes nursing home resident hospitalization rates and consider publicly reporting this measure on the Nursing Home Compare website.
