Nursing home stakeholders are invited to participate in one of two feedback sessions or submit written feedback on initial recommendations for nursing home quality improvement selected from NASEM’s April 2022 report.

Statewide rate beats the national average, although significant variation exists from facility to facility.

While both are SNF QRP measures, nursing home providers should be aware that the NHSN submission process differs.

During the Nov. 9^th webinar, speakers highlighted the MDS sections with changes and new items, reviewed each MDS item and potential implications for LeadingAge members, and discussed planning for the change in documentation requirements for the interdisciplinary team.

Discussion will include a detailed review of what EBP are, why EBP are recommended in nursing homes, and how to be successful with implementation.

Nursing homes can preview the QRP measures that will be displayed for their facility in January 2023.
