CMS has released the State Performance Standards System Guidance by which State Survey Agency performance will be measured in FY 2026.

75% of homes identified by the State as top-quality performers over a multi-year period were LeadingAge NY members.

DOH has developed a two-part training course (OALTC-576) available on the LMS, offering nursing homes a step-by-step guide for completing role assignments and submitting ePOCs.

Following the federal government shutdown, data released on Nursing Home Care Compare and in iQIES was reportedly inaccurate. CMS provided an additional unplanned refresh on Dec. 16^th to resolve these issues, and the Five-Star Reports were updated and sent to LeadingAge members.

The resources include a standardized application and budget attachment; a comprehensive application handbook with details on allowable expenses, application tips, and a sample project application; a FAQ document; and a new resource outlining available CMPRP funds by state.
