Governor Cuomo announces extended deadline for Superstorm Sandy victims to apply for FEMA
assistance

On February 26th, the Governor announced that the deadline for those impacted by Superstorm Sandy
to apply for both FEMA public assistance and/or SBA loans is extended to March 29th, 2013. The prior
deadline was February 27, 2013. The thirteen counties covered by the disaster declaration include:
Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Richmond, Rockland, Westchester, Suffolk, Queens, Orange, Putnam,
Sullivan and Ulster.
