CDC Townhall on Enhanced Barrier Precautions – May 22nd, 1 P.M. ET. This townhall is designed for individuals involved with or working in long-term care settings and will provide an overview of multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs), discuss why MDROs are a significant concern in health care settings, discuss enhanced barrier precautions and their role in preventing the spread of MDROs, and address common questions surrounding infection prevention. CDC Webinar on COVID-19 Vaccine Payment – May 30th, 2 P.M. ET. This webinar will review resources for navigating the COVID-19 vaccine payment processes and how the Quality Improvement Networks-Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN-QIOs) are connecting nursing homes with pharmacies to provide vaccines and handle billing.
