The Nursing Home Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) website provides information about the national rollout of the QAPI program mandated by the Affordable Care Act.

The National Partnership to improve Dementia Care in Nursing Homes supports Healthcare Communities Portal, a web-based system that allows the healthcare quality improvement community to share knowledge and contribute to each other's quaity improvement efforts.

The long-anticipated Nursing Home Quality Improvement and Performance Improvement (QAPI) rollout has begun. Introductory tools, resources and videos are now available on the QAPI website. Information about the rollout will take place at the next SNF/LTC Open Door Forum on Thurs., June 13. 

During an Open Door Forum on June 13, CMS confirmed that the official regulation for the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiative has not yet been established.
