NYAM Announces Upcoming Trainings on IMAGE: NYC Interactive Map of Aging
The New York Academy of Medicine’s (NYAM) Center for Healthy Aging has announced four upcoming training sessions on IMAGE: NYC, NYAM’s open-source map of New York City’s current and projected 65-and-over population that provides overlays of available resources, services, and amenities by neighborhood. Designed for government agencies, elected officials, health care and social service providers, planners, funders, and researchers, the map is an important tool to support funding, planning, advocacy, and direct services.
Each hour-long training session will guide users through the IMAGE: NYC interface and highlight the ways that it can be useful to their work. The dates are:
- Wed., Sept. 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. ET
- Mon., Oct. 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. ET
- Wed., Nov. 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. ET
- Mon., Dec. 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. ET
Space is limited, so those interested in attending should RSVP as soon as possible. Please email NYAM’s Carolyn Stem at cstem@nyam.org with your preferred date or any questions.
