Nursing Home Salary Survey Kicks Off!
(July 30, 2024) Starting this week, LeadingAge NY will be conducting our biennial nursing home salary survey. The survey, formatted the same as in prior years, will be sent to Administrators and CFOs. The resulting compilation provides the most detailed, regionally specific nursing home salary data available. Past survey participation represented 50 percent of all voluntary and public nursing homes in NYS. Those who participate receive a free copy of the report, which contains salary benchmarks for over 30 common nursing home management and non-management positions. The more members participate, the more valuable the report, so we urge all members to participate to ensure that the sample is large enough to provide valid and robust regional data for all participants. Note that the collected information also provides us with critical, current data to support rate adequacy advocacy work.
The survey will have a due date of Fri., Aug. 30th. Please note that this is a separate initiative from the national nursing home salary survey currently being conducted by the Hospital and Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS). If you participate in the HCS survey, you may submit a copy of your HCS survey responses to us in lieu of completing our survey.
