LeadingAge NY Releases COVID-19 Questions and Answers for Long-Term Care Providers
LeadingAge NY has released questions and answers (Q&As) for providers of long-term/post-acute care (LTPAC) and senior services on operational issues related to COVID-19. At this time, the Q&As include issues of general concern to multiple provider types and issues specific to nursing homes, adult care facilities (ACFs)/assisted living, adult day health care (ADHC), home and community-based services (HCBS), and affordable housing/independent living. They are available here.
The Q&As are based on the most current guidance released by state and federal regulators and public health authorities at the time of publication. In some cases, where guidance is unclear or lacking, our answers are based on our best analysis and judgment, given the available information. As the outbreak is evolving rapidly, state and federal guidance is likewise evolving in response to changing circumstances. We will be supplementing and updating the Q&As as additional information becomes available and additional questions are received. To the extent that you identify a conflict between our Q&As and any official guidance, please let us know, and follow the official guidance.
We will be adding to and updating these Q&As as frequently as possible. We are also convening weekly webinars with members on Mondays to address emerging questions. Please send your questions to Ami Schnauber here, and check your email for the dial-in information, or contact Jeff Diamond here.
