LeadingAge National Seeks Medicare Advantage Prior Authorization Data

(July 30, 2024) LeadingAge National is collecting data from nursing home and certified home health agency (CHHA) members on their experience with Medicare Advantage plan prior authorization processes. The data will be used to inform advocacy concerning prior authorization requirements for post-acute care covered by Medicare Advantage plans. Data is being collected using a standard tool and will be aggregated and shared with various federal oversight agencies and lawmakers.
