Homeland Security Grants

ABSTRACT:  Money available for not­for­profit providers.
 
The NYS Office of Homeland Security has announced the availability of grant money to  support security related activities. Activities may include the installation of items such as fencing, barriers or cameras. The maximum grant available is $75,000 and providers must submit an RFA electronically by March, 16, 2010. Only providers in the following  areas will be considered: New York (includes the Cities of New York and Yonkers and the Counties of Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk); Buffalo (includes the City of Buffalo  and the Counties of Erie and Niagara); Albany (includes the Cities of Albany, Troy and  Schenectady and the Counties of Albany, Rensselaer and Schenectady); Rochester (includes the City of Rochester and Monroe County); and Syracuse (includes the City of Syracuse and Onondaga County).
