Get to Know the New 2024 Certification in Infection Control Exam
(Aug. 26, 2024) The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) and the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc., have updated the Certification in Infection Control (CIC) exam and study materials for 2024. The Healthcare Association of NYS' (HANYS) CIC Exam Preparation Study Group, offered in partnership with APIC and the NYS APIC Coordinating Council (NYSACC), provides resources for infection prevention professionals planning to take the CIC exam. Those who have attended this program previously but have not yet passed the CIC exam should consider participating again.
Featuring nine 90-minute interactive sessions facilitated by infection preventionists from APIC, NYSACC, and throughout NYS, each study group session focuses on a specific content area of the CIC exam, including test questions from the exam. This event is open to HANYS members and non-members and is scheduled to start Thurs., Sept. 12, 2024.
The registration fee includes all live virtual sessions and an electronic copy of the APIC Certification Companion: Mastering the Certification in Infection Control (CIC®) Exam, 1st edition.
