Energy Efficiency Expo in Manhattan

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) invites representatives of health care facilities to their Combined Heat and Power Expo at The Times Center, 242 W. 41st Street in Manhattan.  The event is on Friday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please come at anytime during the day!

The Expo is designed for commercial, industrial, and multifamily building owners and managers to connect with pre-approved CHP equipment vendors and other organizations offering financial incentives and technical support for the installation of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems. Incentivized systems range from 50 kW to 1.3 MW. This program just got a new $60 million allocated, so there's a lot of incentive here. To attend requires just one hour of a nursing home, hospital, health care official's time, as the program cycles every half hour.

Building owners, managers, and other representatives are invited to stop by and speak with pre-approved CHP system vendors, NYSERDA staff, and U.S. Department of Energy’s CHP Technical Assistance Partnership representatives about products and services available to capture energy savings and improve the resiliency of their buildings.
