CMS Releases Web-Based Training on FY/CY 2025 PAC QRP Key Program Updates

(July 23, 2024) The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has posted a new and updated resource that provides an overview of key updates to post-acute care (PAC) Quality Reporting Programs (QRPs) for Fiscal Year (FY)/Calendar Year (CY) 2025. The web-based training course covers all PAC settings including skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). The course reviews new, removed, and revised quality measures (QMs); timelines for public reporting; and an overview of measure specifications. Also included are assessment guidelines and coding instructions for the new data element, O0350: Patient/Resident’s COVID-19 vaccination is up to date.
