CMS Releases New Quality in Focus Video Trainings in QSEP

(June 10, 2025) The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released new videos in the interactive video series “Quality in Focus” on the Quality, Safety, and Education Portal (QSEP). Two of the four new videos are aimed at nursing homes and address common deficiencies: Long-Term Care Infection Control and Long-Term Care Food Safety Requirements.

These videos aim to enhance the quality of care, focusing on the deficiencies cited most during surveys. Each video is about 10-15 minutes in length. Facilities can access these new videos by going to QSEP and selecting the “Quality in Focus (QIF)” tab. Nursing home-specific trainings include “LTC” in the title.
