Apply Now for LeadingAge Innovations Grants

Now in its second year, the Innovations Fund will award up to 8 grants of up to $25,000 each.  The focus of this solicitation is on bringing housing and services together to meet the needs of lower income elderly. This has been a major focus of recent advocacy and other efforts for LeadingAge and LeadingAge NY.

Member organizations interested in learning more about this grant solicitation are invited to participate in a LeadingAge conference call on June 26, at 2 p.m. Eastern Time. We strongly support LeadingAge’s vision that innovation supported by solid research and study is our best chance for reshaping long term care and senior services. In support of innovation nationally and in our state, LeadingAge NY contributed to the Innovations Fund and established a matching program for any New York member that receives a grant from the Fund.  New York’s matching program will make the Innovations Fund dollars go even further and hopefully help New York members be even more competitive in seeking awards. We encourage members to apply for this opportunity.
