AHRQ to Host Webinar

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ -- an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) is hosting a free webinar on March 12th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on “Improving Patient Safety in Long-Term Care (LTC) Facilities Training Modules.” The webinar will describe how to use the training modules developed by AHRQ and the Rand Corporation to train staff in the detection and communication of changes in residents’ condition, with a focus on falls prevention. These skills are critical to ensuring residents’ health and safety. The webinar is designed for nurses and staff educators in long term care facilities. Register here for the webinar.
