The tools include an update on the web-based portal for state reports on managed care; two additional state reporting templates related to MLR and network adequacy and access assurances; a new technical assistance toolkit for states to oversee access in MLTC programs; and recommended practices for ensuring timely and accurate payment to Indian health care providers.

DOH specified the regulatory changes to be implemented on May 1^st for personal care and consumer directed personal assistance services. It also notified stakeholders that the independent assessment changes will preliminarily apply only to initial assessments. Other changes will be suspended until a later date to be announced with 60 days prior notice.
