Networks, Marketing, and Quality on Integrated Care Meeting Agenda
The Department of Health (DOH) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will be convening the third stakeholder meeting on the future of integrated care in New York State on Mon., Oct. 16th in New York City. The session is part of a series of meetings designed to gather stakeholder input on the future design of managed care programs for individuals dually eligible for Medicaid and Medicare. Each session focuses on a set of specified topics. Brief summaries of the first two meetings are available here (meeting 1) and here (meeting 2). The meeting will be held at 26 Federal Plaza from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 16th and will focus on 1) Network Adequacy and Access; 2) Participant Rights and Protections; 3) Marketing Rules and Flexibilities; and 4) Quality Standards and Measures. It will be broadcast by webinar for those unable to attend in person (space is limited, and only two people from each organization will be permitted to attend in person).
Those attending in person should RSVP by email no later than Oct. 11th with the first and last names of attendees to futureofintegratedcare@health.ny.gov. Once the host approves your registration, you will receive a confirmation email message with instructions on how to join the event.
DOH has expressed an interest in hearing from all stakeholders including consumers, plans, and providers. The final two meetings are scheduled for Nov. 16th (in Rochester or Albany) and Dec. 8th in New York City.
