LeadingAge National Seeks Member Expertise on Alternative Payment Models
On Thurs., Jan. 25th, LeadingAge National issued a brief survey to gauge members’ levels of activity related to alternative payment models, care and service redesign, innovative practices, and integration. It was emailed to the primary contact for each member organization and should take no more than 20 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed here.
LeadingAge National would also like to hear from you if you are not engaged in these activities to learn why and what the barriers are for your organization. (Please note that the primary contact for multi-site organizations may have received multiple emails with a unique link for each site or service line.)
Responses will be compiled into an inventory of members’ activities. The inventory will allow LeadingAge National to:
- Better understand the depth and breadth of activity around the country;
- Demonstrate to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Congress that long-term/post-acute care providers are able to lead these and other models that involve taking on financial risk as well as the responsibility for integrating services for seniors; and
- Share the results of the survey and more detailed case studies on some of the innovative activities with members to inspire additional innovation and highlight promising practices.
Survey responses are due by Fri., Feb. 16th. If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Fallon at nfallon@leadingage.org.
