The October policy and planning meeting for managed care plans included updates on the HCBS settings rule assessment requirements for social adult day care, behavioral health carve-in for MAP plans, resumption of involuntary disenrollment, and the next round of disenrollment of long-term nursing home residents.

Another batch disenrollment of long-term nursing home residents will be effective Oct. 1^st. These members will revert to fee-for-service coverage. In addition, the independent assessment process will not take effect Oct. 1^st, and guidance on social day HCBS setting compliance will be issued soon.
