Free Webinar for Managed Care Plans and Providers: Payment for MOLST Discussions

Compassion and Support, an affiliate of Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, released a free recorded webinar describing Excellus' payment model for advance care planning discussions using MOLST (Medical Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment). MOLST is a shared decision-making process that generates a portable and actionable medical order form for adults with serious illnesses or nearing the end of life. The webinar is targeted at Medicare Advantage and mainstream managed care plans that cover physician and nurse practitioner visits and providers that bill for those visits.
