Take Action: Urge Congress to Extend the Affordable Connectivity Program
Without congressional action to extend program funding, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) – which serves more than 23 million U.S. households – will stop enrolling new eligible households this week and will run out of funds to serve current enrollees in April 2024. For many affordable housing residents, including low-income older adults, losing the subsidy would make internet service too expensive to sustain.
TAKE ACTION NOW by calling on Congress to enact the bipartisan, bicameral Affordable Connectivity Program Extension Act, a proposal that would provide $7 billion to keep the ACP running through 2024.
