Register Today: Webinar on "Serious Mental Illness" in Affordable Housing
(Aug. 6, 2024) The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Homeless and Housing Resource Center is sponsoring a webinar on Wed., Aug. 7th from 2-3:30 p.m. to provide an overview of serious mental illness for housing providers, including an overview of symptoms and medications, a review of effective policies and programs, a discussion of applied scenarios and recommendations, and a question-and-answer session with experts.
Although titled “Public Housing and Serious Mental Illness,” the description states that the webinar is intended for public housing authorities as well as U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Multifamily Housing providers, and that all housing and service providers are welcome to join.
