NYS Announces Availability of More Than $86M for Health Homes Supportive Housing Program
(May 14, 2024) On May 7th, the NYS Department of Health (DOH) Division of Program Development and Management Bureau of Social Care and Community Supports announced the availability of $86,876,000 statewide for 5 years for up to 17 awards that will provide permanent rental subsidies and housing tenancy services for vulnerable homeless Medicaid members. The rental subsidies and services provided under the Medicaid Redesign Team Health Homes Supportive Housing Program are intended to be a means to provide affordable and stable housing and services, thereby improving access to health services and connection to health systems.
