New Grants Available to Support Innovations in Intergenerational Living
The Eisner Foundation has announced the Eisner Prize Fellowship, a new program designed to support leaders pioneering innovations in intergenerational connection. Awards of $50,000 – a $10,000 stipend and $40,000 to be used toward the particular intergenerational initiative – will be granted to up to five leaders in the intergenerational space. Fellows will also be awarded scholarships to Generations United’s Global Conference in July 2023, which will serve as the location for the cohort’s first gathering.
The application for the inaugural year of the Fellowship is open to anyone working on these innovations through research, programs, technology, or other efforts to advance the field. Young people, people of color, and those working with historically marginalized communities are particularly encouraged to apply. Applications close on May 31, 2023, and selected Fellows will be announced in June.
