New Affordable Housing Resource from LeadingAge National: “Bridging the Broadband Affordability Gap”

LeadingAge National has posted a new resource on internet access for affordable housing communities on the LeadingAge Learning Hub. In the eight-minute QuickCast, Scott Code, vice president of the LeadingAge Center for Aging Services Technologies (CAST), details how the country’s new Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program and Digital Equity Act are designed to ensure that low-income households have access to affordable, reliable high-speed internet and the skills training to make the most of it. The QuickCast also covers advocacy steps housing providers can take to help steer funding toward affordable housing residents.
