HCR Announces Unified Funding Date
As a member of the New York State Homes and Community Renewal’s (HCR) National Affordable Housing Act Task Force and the Partnership Advisory Committee, LeadingAge participated in a meeting on July 24 where funding available through the Unified Funding (UF) application process was announced. The HCR UF funding will include:
- Low-Income Housing Credit Program (LIHC)
- NYS Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program (SLIHC)
- Low-Income Housing Trust Fund Program (HTF)
- New York State HOME Program (HOME)
- Rural Area Revitalization Projects Program (RARP)
- Urban Initiatives Program (UI)
- Community Investment Fund (CIF)
- Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program
- Medicaid Redesign Team Housing Capital Program
- Mitchell-Lama Program
The request for applications is expected to be posted on the HCR website by Aug. 15. Applications for the early round projects must be submitted by Tues., Oct. 7, 2014, and all others applications will be due by Thurs., Dec. 4, 2014.
