What’s That you Say Mrs. Robinson?

Famously in the movie “The Graduate” all adults were addressed throughout the movie by their last name – even Mrs. Robinson by Ben Braddock. How do you address your residents? Some senior living communities address all their residents by their last name to convene a culture of respect for their older residents. Some communities address their residents by their first name to convene an informal "homelike" atmosphere. Some start out addressing their residents by their last name and then switch to their first name if asked. (How do they remember each resident preference?)
