LeadingAge CAST video

Leading Age’s Center for Aging Services Technology (CAST) released a new video titled HighTech Aging: Improving Lives Today (also available in a shortened version) that shows how current technology can facilitate coordinated care and aging in place. The story follows a fictional 83- year old woman named Alma through several phases/settings of care in order to highlight monitoring, telehealth and social engagement technologies that facilitate communication and care coordination among providers and care team members.

CAST plans to follow up the video with an educational module that expands on the ideas in the video to offer more insights and discussion points around different care issues and categories of technologies.
