Updates on UAS-NY

DOH has posted the audio from the Sept. 20 UAS-NY program-specific webinar for the LTHHCP.  In addition, they have posted a reminder concerning MLTC Policy 13.09 (a), which instructs managed long term care plans to use the UAS-NY, instead of the Semi-Annual Assessment of Members (SAAM), commencing on Oct. 1, 2013.  Plans are to use the UAS-NY for all new members who are scheduled to enroll effective on or after Oct. 1 and for all reassessments beginning Oct. 1, 2013.
