Update: Implementation of the UAS-NY

All MLTC Plans and their respective downstream providers are required to fully implement the UAS-NY effective October 1, 2013 in accordance with the Department's May 13, 2013 correspondence.To provide MLTC Plans with a level of flexibility, Plans may transition to the UAS-NY prior to October 1, 2013.  Plans that opt to transition before the October 1, 2013 implementation deadline date may use the UAS-NY for:

• new enrollees who start with the Plan on or after July 1, 2013
• reassessments due on or after July 1, 2013

Important reminder to LeadingAge NY members:

On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, DOH will conduct a one-hour webinar on the UAS-NY to provide additional information concerning statewide implementation.  LeadingAge NY has received input from members regarding questions and concerns, which we have submitted to DOH for discussion during this webinar.
