Coming Soon: UAS-NY Implementation and IT Readiness Workshops

The transition to and implementation of the Uniform Assessment System (UAS-NY) is currently underway in several regions of New York State.  If you have not already begun to do so, the time is NOW to consider how the UAS-NY will impact your business processes and whether you have the technology know-how to comply with all hardware, software and security requirements.  Join LeadingAge NY staff as they provide a review of IT specifications and basic security practices for the UAS-NY system; tips to help identify and manage risks, threats and vulnerabilities associated with computers that could compromise UAS-NY assessment data and a checklist template to assist with UAS-NY implementation.

At the end of the session, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a security assessment of their laptop computer.  Participants are encouraged to bring the computer(s) that will be used to complete UAS-NY assessments and LeadingAge NY IT staff will evaluate its compliance with UAS-NY hardware, browser and security requirements.
