December 2012 MLTC Enrollment

Eight new Medicaid-only Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plans began serving New York City last year bringing the total of plans to 18 by the end of 2012.  Together with the nine Medicaid Advantage Plus (MAP) plans and two PACE plans, they served nearly 70,000 enrollees in December.  This was 28,000 more people than one year earlier.  The LeadingAge NY compilation of NYC and county-specific enrollment data by plan is available here.
