Spousal Impoverishment Budgeting - DOH will soon be releasing a GIS to district staff related to spousal budgeting for MLTC enrollees. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available.

MLTC Policy 13.22 - Personal Care Contracting Policy – Clarifies a previous contracting policy for MLTC plans that are required to pay personal care providers/agencies servicing MLTC members the posted rate by HRA or LDSS through March 1, 2014.

MLTC Policy 13.21 - Process Issues Involving the Definition of Community Based Long Term Care Services - Clarifies a previous policy on the process and the required steps for a Medicaid individual who requires only Personal Care Level 1 services in an MLTC plan.

Telehealth – DOH shared they are drafting a policy on continuing the telehealth service during the 90-day continuity of care provision for MLTC enrollees. This new policy is welcome news to patients and providers who have been receiving/providing Medicaid telehealth services.
