Two new policy updates for MLTC Implementation

DOH has posted the following policy updates:

• MLTC Policy 13.06: Marketing Guidelines for Managed Long Term Care Plans and Medical Service Providers: This clarifies some marketing guidelines by providing definitions, appropriateness of marketing material, activities that are allowed and disallowed with marketing, required information for potential enrollees, and what a plan cannot do to induce enrollments.
• MLTC Policy 13.07: Private Duty Nursing Summary: DOH has summarized the background of Fee for Service Medicaid private duty nursing (PDN) service prior to the initiation of transitioning PDN cases in mandatory MLTC counties.
