After a Brief Pause, MLTC Enrollment Forges Ahead

As a result of Hurricane Sandy, any enrollment activity for MLTC was “paused” for two weeks, from Nov. 1 to Nov.  15. DOH also received a waiver from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding the requirement for an MLTC plan to conduct an assessment within 30 days of admission; this is now temporarily being extended to 45 days in areas affected by the storm.

DOH has also announced that there is now a Consumer Guide available for New York City MLTC plan performance for 2012, which can be accessed here
